Innovative capability in dialog

Research and innovation are of outstanding importance for Germany. Under the conditions and challenges posed by globalization and crises, the coalescence of global economy and the connected dynamics, constant change and turbulences the capability to innovate becomes the decisive success factor for long-term viability of enterprises and national economies. The present study consolidates the results of 22 interviews with national experts on innovative capability and innovation research from science and economy. The goal is to concentrate the experts’ common knowledge inventory on the topical field of innovative capability and to render visible research demands and recommendations for political action.
