Goals

The overall objective of the project is to establish a continuous International Monitoring (IMO) and linked fields of action on the topic of innovative ability in order to support the thematic development of the BMBF R&D program "Working - Learning - Developing Skills. Potential for Innovation in a modern Working Environment" and to foster the sustainable competitiveness of Germany and Europe in the global context.

Structuring of the current conflict areas as defined in the program, identification and evaluation of future areas of conflict in the national and international context.

Scientific target
With what scientific methods and instruments can national and international areas of conflict be identified, verified and evaluated?

Strategy
Reduction of the identified and evaluated conflict areas.

Sub-Goal 2

Sub-Goal 2

Identification of national and international solutions as well as adaptation, preparation and utilization for different target groups.

Scientific target
What can the methods and instruments used in fields of action 1-8 contribute to the identification of solutions and their adaptation, preparation and utilization for the different target groups?

Strategy
Further development of the BMBF research program as a learning program.

Sub-Goal 3

Transfer of national solutions to the aforementioned conflict areas in the field of "Working - Learning - Developing Skills" to specific target groups.

Scientific target
Which method of transfer in width and depth is appropriate in a national framework to sustainably implement new solutions, based on international observations, for the conflict areas of a modern and internationalized working environment?

Strategy
Sustainable implementation of new ways of transfer from of international to national frameworks.

Benefit

The research project IMO is aimed to intensify the cross-linking of the innovation actors and the innovation levels as well as the collaboration of the areas of politics, economy and science. Concerning the strategical adjustment of organization and personnel development, "International Monitoring" aims to help enterprises to create structures which form basic conditions and a conducive atmosphere for the development and implementation of innovations. The results of the permanent and differentiated international process of monitoring form the basis for the advancement of the BMBF promotion program in view of topical and future trends in the national and international area.
