With its program "Working - Learning - Developing Skills. Potential for Innovation in a Modern Working Environment", the German Federal Ministry for Education and Research (BMBF) promotes research and development undertakings that strengthen potentials for innovation in Germany. By means of systematic connections of personnel, organizational and competence development enterprises and employees are intended to be better suited to generate innovations and to successfully accomplish changes necessary to do so.

The initiative of the BMBF and the European Social Fond promotes new strategic partnerships under the title „ Fit for Innovation“ and joins notable persons of economy, science, social-partners and politics.

This promoted partnership generated a knowledge-, transfer- and learning-forum where companies can both share their awareness of how important innovative capability is and develop transferable solutions of how to tie innovative capability to companies. The program contains 70 companies which are organized in six workshops.
